- The simplicity of this work is
what makes such a bold statement. The gently carved maple has
contrasting ebony butterfly keepers to give "strength"
and hold the crack together, keeping the maple from splitting
apart. Strength has a hand rubbed oil finish and is 3/4"
thick with pegs on the back holding it out from the wall.
